Why did you start blogging?
“In a long time I have been a big fan of Insta, where I daily upload new outfit pictures, but on a blog, you can elaborate a little bit more and give good fashion advice.”
What is the best about having a blog?
“I love when people comment on my posts, and I get the feeling that people actually like to read my posts. Besides that, I think it so great that I get the chance to write about fashion and inspire people with my style.”
What are your favourite brand and your latest purchase?
“I like a lot of brands, but I’ve always been a big fan of Missoni. I love their colourful universe with lots of patterns, which fits right in, in my wardrobe. My latest purchase must be two new H&M bikinis. H&M has always been pretty good at making swimwear – I just don’t hope that every girl on the beach is wearing the same bikini.”
What are your favourite high street brands?
“I’m a big fan of Zara and H&M, and it’s very rare I get out of there empty handed. Besides that, I’m starting to like Mango very much. On their webshop, they have so many great styles, so it’s a shame we don’t have a store here in Denmark – only the little one in Magasin, but I think they have a really bad selection of styles”.
What about more expensive brands?
“I really like IRO and Alexander Wang. Those brands are a little more cool and edgy. Gucci is also a favourite, but a little bit to pricey for my wallet, and of course Isabel Marant, which is always a winner.”
What are the trends for summer?
“The summer is already here – thank god! Some of the biggest trends and my favourites this season are; yellow, stripes, pink, shoulder cut-outs, waistline and of course loft of ruffles.”
Do you care about what you eat?
“I try to eat healthily and varied most of the time, but as everybody else sometimes it slips – especially in the weekend. But I think it’s okay as long as you have been eating healthy all week, and then letting yourself to go a little crazier during the weekend.”
Which face products do you use?
“Until two weeks ago I used Aesop products, but now my skin needs something new, and that’s why I have started to use face cream and mask from Mario Badescu, which is really working for me. Besides that, I’m still using my serum from Aesop.”
How will you describe your style?
“My style has gone from being all black, white and minimalistic to become very colourful and fun. I love to mix colours, play with patterns and make new combinations that you normally don’t think of. So if I should choose three words to describe my style it would be; Colourful, experimental and fun”.
Are you ever “scared” of what people think, when you’re wearing “wild” clothes?
“In the beginning, I could be a little scared of what people would think, but when you get more confident with your style, all that goes away, and you no longer care about, what people think. Fortunately, I get a lot of positive compliments for my style, which means that you want to continue in that direction.”
Why did you choose to become a self-employed?
“I chose to become a self-employed because I get to do what I love the most. I was working a place where I didn’t feel like I was using my potential 100%, and now I can do that. I know it’s going to be tough in the beginning since I’m still very new to blogging and I’m now biggest influencer on Instagram – yet, but I know I’ll get there at some point.”
Can you please tell more about your education and about your way to where you are today?
“I just wrote a post about it – you can read it right here.”
Do you have some good advice for people, who are considering becoming self-employed?
“Follow your heart – such a cliché, I know! But still – if you feel like you’re doing the right thing, and know it will work, I would say go for it. A good idea is to already have some collaborations going on and some opportunities to become with, so you aren’t starting from scratch. Make a plan and do lists about who you want to collab with, and be specific about what you have to offer to the brand”.
What is your biggest dream?
“My biggest dream is to create my own brand or universe some day, where it’s all about fashion. Right now I’m working on some different and really exciting projects, which I hope will develop in the future. Besides that, I love to blog, and really hope that within a few years I will reach new heights with the blog.”
